  • I have heard that tvi express is a good thing to make money with?
I will be moving to South Africa soon and need to make contact with tvi express south africa. Does anyone know who is the best people to contact for tvi south africa?

    Hi

I had the same feeling about TV Express South Africa in the beginning and thought it was just another scheme for people to try and get rich quick. Once I had a good luck at it and discussed this with some of my friends, I felt more assured about it and joined through this site: http://tviexpress.co.za/

Really was impressed with the support and training – have made some money, but not a lot yet as I am still new. Try them: http://tviexpress.co.za/

    They are really good

  • The British extended their rule over South Africa and spawned racism which was a big part of the Apartheid. How are they exactly connected?

Racism was used to justify colonialism. The idea was that white people were superior to black people, therefore it was okay to invade, kill off anyone who resisted, and declare it a colony, since the white people were "civilizing" these "backwards" natives.

  • Every year I hear that so many people are immigrating from South Africa to Vancouver, Canada. What will I need to meet these requirements? Do you have any tips for me?

There are several website dedicated to help people to immigrate to Canada. One of them is softlandings.com I think, but they charge you for their services. Just do a search on immigration canada. There is also a support group and network for SA ppl immigrating there, I think I found it under SA immigrate Canada.

  • Are people not aware that South Africa is run by a government that are as racist as Mugabe and have a history of violent extremeism? Are do they have the West wraped round their little finger with how wonderful everyone seems to think Nelson Mandela is?

We are not surprised at all..!!
Not only is SA not doing anything but neither is the rest of the world!!

  • I’m doing a Social Studies project on a country in Asia or Africa for a place with history.I’m doing south Africa but I can’t find a historical place in Africa.I have to be able to right a page on this place.Any ideas of a historical place in South Africa? If not,any ideas of places in Africa?

South Africa is a country with a captivating history and ancient civilizations. The historical places of South Africa reflect the country’s colonial past, its culture and traditions. The major cities of this country constitute a number of places with historical significance. Some of the popular historical places of South Africa are:

    • Robben Island
    • Cradle of Humankind
    • Apartheid Museum
    • Voortrekker Monument
    • Bo- Kaap
    • Castle of Good Hope

    Robben Island:
Located at a distance of about 12 km from Cape Town, Robben Island was the prison ground of Nelson Mandela and his comrades in the 17 th century. This Island was also known as the "Alcatraz of Africa" and since the year 1997, Robben Island has been a heritage museum. The Island symbolizes the country’s progress and great transformation.

    Cradle of Humankind:
The Cradle of Humankind is a fascinating historical site which continues to unearth interesting discoveries of the human origin. This region gained popularity with the discovery of a 2 ½ million-year old hominid skull in the year 1947 and continues to be one of the popular historical sites of South Africa. The Cradle of Humankind encloses the regions of Sterkfontein, Swartkrans and Kromdraai.

    Apartheid Museum:
Located in Gauteng, the Apartheid Museum has a collection of images, audio-visual presentations, and stories of human sufferings and an account of the country’s journey from domination to democracy. The collections in this Museum reflect the horrifying past of South Africa.

    Voortrekker Monument:
Located in Pretoria, Gauteng, the Voortrekker Monument is huge granite structures which commemorates the "Great Trek" and remains one of the popular historical places of South Africa.

    Bo- Kaap:
Located in Cape Town, this region is full of cobbled streets and strange historical homes. This Cape Malay region is one of the few areas to escape damage during the apartheid era inspite of being a non- white area.

    Castle of Good Hope:
The Castle of Good Hope was declared a National monument in the year 1936 and is the oldest extant building in the South Africa. It is one of the well preserved monuments and holds much historical significance.

  • For the first time in history, South Africa hosted a Confederation Cup, which I consider as a mini-world cup. Lot of doubts engulf South Africa abouth its capability to hosting such a big tournament. How do you think they fare in terms of overall performance including transportation, hospitality, stadiums, Bafana Bafana, and many other things? Did you enjoy it?

I understand the doubts but i think south africa did their best to be a great host. Okay maybe the pitch wasnt top notch but it was ok, the teams still played well. Come 2010, they’ll really deliver, no doubt.

I enjoyed it because the crowd acted like ours back home especially with the vuvuzelas (the horns, as most people who arent used to them call them).

I enjoyed the games though they were full of surprises, who would have thought SA (south africa) would be in the top 4??? I always thought the final match would be spain vs brazil. I didnt expect USA to go as far as it did.

For the 1st time i was glued to the screen during a football game. I’m a typical girl who has no time for football but I loved the Confederation cup!!!!

  • It seems that I can not use PayPal and I am trying to find out if I can use Moneybookers, but my friend in South Africa says that I can’t.

Any useful ideas of how to do it without it costing £30 every time through my bank?

    Thanks for your help!
This is to send money to a longstanding frined and absolutelly no scam involved. Thank you for all your concern!

I always use Western Union to Kenya so far without problem and if you go for next day rather than delivery in seconds it only costs £4.90 on £100 or £6.90 for £200.
That is via an agent you can only do the in seconds option on line which costs three times as much.
