Girls, when you go barefoot at airport security, is it a little sexy to have your feet on display?

OK, airport security is one of the bigger drags in life. But is there a tiny upside for women with sexy feet? First, you get to take off heels that might have been killing you. Second, you’re likely shorter than most guys. And third, it’s a chance to show off your pedicure.

What do you say?

It’s the best part of going through security for me, to observe womens feet. I think some of the security guys get into this jobjust for this purpose!

Does airport security put a limit to the number of tampons in purse?

I’m leaving for a six day trip tomorrow morning, and, obviously, I’m going to bring tampons.
The most convenient place for me to put the tampons is in my purse, and I don’t have an unopened box to put in my suitcase.
So does airport security care how many are there?
I feel really stupid for asking this question, so thanks to anyone who replies.

No, there is no limit, take as many as you feel you will need. I have taken a whole box of tampons in my carry-on without issue.

No. They don’t want you to have large bottles of liquids, and no sharp objects–but I’ve never heard of a problem with tampons.

We couldn’t afford to book in advance so are going to look for a late deal to Menorca in August.
What is the best thing to do?

Agents are looking for commission even if they are waged, they will have an element of their pay as commission, some as high as 50%, other only 20%, depending on where you go. Online, you are likely to get a better deal, but it would take more looking and comparing than if an agent looked fo you.

So, for a better deal use the internet, for choice and easier comparison of deals, you might wat to choose to visit a high street agent, and an independent maybe better than just going to thomas cook, as all they will do is sell you their spare capacity and not offer you other companies deals.

and moree but i just want to make sure it all gets through airport security and that i wont have to throw it awayyy.

You do not mention the country from which you are leaving – which may make a difference. It is the federal rules about departure screenings that determines what gets past the security check point – not the airline itself.

For US departures you CAN take food from home. I have done it many times and have <> had a problem. What you are taking are all fine and there should not be any difficulties.

I have taken sandwiches of various sorts, including PB&J, and deli meat/cheese sandwiches, fruit (banana, apples, oranges, grapes), packaged snacks like granola bars and chips, and crackers from home just tossed into a sandwich bag.

The things you want to avoid are items such as pudding, yogurt, jello or anything that has a similar consistency. Drinks, of course, are something that you would buy after going past security, but you can bring an empty water bottle with you and fill it from a drinking fountain after the check point, if water is satisfactory for you.

Then of course, avoid things that are messy, drippy, difficult to eat in cramped quarters, or might be smelly or distasteful to your fellow travelers (lots of onions, garlic odoriferous cheeses).

I know a few people personally who claim they are nauseated by the smell of things like Cheez-Its and Cheetos, but those happen to be among snacks that I like, so I ignore them if they object. There is no accounting for the preference of some people

Can I wear my extensions with metal clips through airport security?

I have clip-in extensions, and the clip is metal.
When I’m passing through airport security, will the metal detector alarm go off if I’m wearing the extensions?

And, if the alarm does go off, will they make me take out my extensions?

I haven’t been through airport security in a long time and I want to know all the steps you have to go through to actually get through it.

Okay, first you take of your shoes/belt, and put them in a bin, you also take out your clear ziploc bag that containers your liquids, and put it in a bin, you also put all your electronics (phone, iPod, laptop etc.) and put them in a bin, you also put your luggage across, then you walk through a scanner-type thing.

It is very unlikely that the detector will beep. People wear rings, jewelry, have metal in the buttons of jeans and so on – and go through with no trouble.

Eve if it did, they would just run the hand wand over you to make sure that it was only that item causing the beep.
